The Raven’s Rise is a small-batch licensed cottage food operation based out of Gales Ferry CT.
Every loaf is naturally leavened, fermented over days, using only the highest quality ingredients. We bake limited menu items each month using wild yeast, organic flours and time honored methods. Inspired by a craft passed down by generations, this micro bakery exists for those who crave something a little more Unique. You deserve beautiful bread.
About the baker
Hi there! My name is Danielle, I’m the baker behind the Raven.
I’m a full-time social worker & public policy advocate, but in the early hours, when the world is quiet, I bake. I’m also a mom of two wild-hearted boys, a reader of fantasy and someone who finds peace in making bread for my community.
I’ve been a baker since I was a kid, learning skills passed down to me by a long line of family bakers. I believe bread has always been a way to gather and connect.
