Sourdough workshop @ CrossFit Dyr in Mystic, 2/21

Join us for a hands-on sourdough workshop designed for those with busy lives. Learn how to make real sourdough bread from scratch, an easily digestible, nutrient-dense carbohydrate that supports everyday fueling.
This class is beginner-friendly and focused on simple, repeatable skills you can use at home: no fancy equipment, no prior baking experience required.
Each workshop ticket includes:
A Beginner’s Guide to Sourdough
Your own jar of active sourdough starter to keep
1.5–2 hours of interactive, hands-on learning
A mixing bowl & spoon to keep
Dough you mix in class to take home and bake
A proofing tea towel and bench scraper to take home
Sourdough bread to sample during class
Ongoing support through your sourdough journey beyond class
We’ll cover:
Why sourdough is easier to digest than conventional bread
How fermentation impacts gut health and nutrient absorption
How to fit sourdough baking into an active lifestyle
How to keep a starter alive
How to make a simple loaf of bread
What is a partner ticket?: Everything above + you can bring a friend or family member to learn and sample sourdough treats with you. You and your partner make 1 dough together.

Cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours before receive full credit toward a future class
No refunds or credits for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the workshop
